Ncousins1's 2023 Solar Octane TRD Pro "Build"

Just picked it up today. 4th Tacoma, 1st TRD Pro. So excited about this truck. This color is absolutely wild. Just here to keep track of everything I do it. Probably going to enjoy it in stock form for a little while before I go to crazy with it.

Nice! I’m patiently waiting for mine, should have it by early January. These pictures make the color look much more orange than in most other pictures I’ve seen. Would you say the photos are reproducing the color pretty accurately?

 

I was having a very difficult time getting pictures of the truck to make the color look true. All the pics I took outside look more red than it actually is. I would say that these indoor pics look more true in color. It’s very orange and I love it.

 

Good to know, and that seems to be the consensus; it’s more orange than pictures show, especially outside. Just trying to prep myself for the arrival of mine since I haven’t seen this color in the wild yet.

I hadn't seen the color in person until it pulled up for delivery haha so happy I managed to get it. I can't stop looking at it

 

Is trd pro stamped on the bed? Like that look over decals.

Swapped out the OEM mats for Husky Liner Weatherbeaters. 5th set of Husky Liners. Love the quality, fit, and texture. I find them much easier to clean than OEM. The OEM mats are a very soft rubber and it almost seems like sand clings to it and is much harder to clean.

 

Got super lucky this weekend with scheduling and was able to meet up with @G8R_Taco to get the KDMAX Pro 9.0 tune. This is the second truck I have had tuned by @G8R_Taco and I cannot recommend him enough! He is super awesome to work with and the tune is amazing! It is a must for every Tacoma! Thanks again!

Knocked out a couple small things this morning. Matte black “3D” style tailgate insert. And also threw in a MESO Customs Gasshole. Stuck with version 1. The updated version didn’t seem to get crazy good reviews even though it looked like it would’ve been better. I didn’t have issues with the first version when I had it before so I just stuck with it again.

Knocked out the A/C drain mod with a kit from @Vorra65. Thanks again! Super easy install and glad I got it done while the truck is still new.

 

Installed the Runnin4tacos Sequential Turn signals to help black out the accents more. Happy with the result.
