So I just finished the mod, off of the TAIL TOWING relay. Works like a champ. Now I can use the fogs with the running lights, low beam & high beam headlights.

So you will see that I ran the trigger wire (red wire) down through the large fuse box, through the factory wire loom and up into the small fuse box. The small fuse box will detach from the large one and the bottom can be removed to run the wires. I then made my jumpers and fed them down through the small box and back up another slot to attach to the Fog Relay. I made for less wire having to be crammed into the small box. I already had the 14ga black and red wire so I just color-coded with heat shrink. I will say the only downside is that due to the other relay that butts up to the TAIL TOWING relay I was unable to use a male spade connector and had to tin the wire and feed it in with the relay leg. Not ideal but it works. Should see my neighbors looks as I am rewiring a brand new truck....priceless.

I give all credit to nd4spdbh, as he had the original Mod and guided me to the TAIL TOWING relay to the trigger power. Thanks.

Is there any way to trigger the fog light so it comes on with parking light. I want to be able to turn on parking light and have fogs on than they will be on with low and hi beam also. Thanks

does tapping into the tow tail relay affect the light when a trailer is hooked up?

Nope, not one bit, you are simply pulling probably 1/10th of an amp of power to switch on the relay for the fog lights

You shorted something out, start checking all your fuses.

so you just tin the wire and make a 90 degree bend in it then flatten the end of it to fit into the relay slot?

if you cant fit it then yes.... If you bend the male spade in a Z shape then you could probably make it work in that tight spot.

So I have a 2014 SR5 4x4 I have the little side panel with the two blue cube relays but not the big gray one (AC/DC)? The space where it should connect is there but it is not there in itself. So can I still make the switched connection there or does it mean I have to look else where. I have the wiring and crimp connectors. Will put them together tonight.
