How are you getting the bent brown male connecter to fit into the slot with the relay shown in the first picture with the grey box relay??

Edit: I found the answer in some earlier posts. Great mod, worked like a charm! Thanks ND4!

Pretty good camera. I could send the photos into the lab and check your criminal history. Not really, but I've seen worse prints submitted. Your bass thumb would give you up. Lol.

Just wanted to update this after someone pointed out i never stated WHICH hole the bent male pin of the brown wire went into down in the ACDC socket....

Put it down into the spot where the red pin would go labeled in the attached picture.

image.jpg Thanks to the OP for this great mod. Dremel was helpful to trim the blades for the green connections.

I removed the wire that went there and put it in a blank spot. It wasn't easy getting it out, but I am sure there is a technique to it. I pushed and shoved until it came out. Then I ran my splice wire up into the same spot with a female connector. I have since replaced that wire with one routed to the trailer light relay so the fogs work exactly like the rest of the lights.

I did this mod on Sunday - and my push button on the dash for the outlet in the bed quit working - no longer lights up and am assuming the outlet in the bed isn't working either? Anyone else experiencing this problem? I have a 2015 TRD sport DCSB-4x4- the dogs work anytime though?? Not sure what happened.... Any thoughts?

its possible that you messed up the ACDC relay when you pushed it back down into the socket, pull it out and inspect it

My exact thoughts. My AC relay actually started to separate a little when I pulled it out which concerned me. However, my button still works.

Thanks guys, I'll inspect and see. Anyone an idea how much they cost if it is screwed up ( the ac relay )? Thanks

Ok I pulled out the relay and what do ya know... The spade is crammed up into the relay! How did you get the 2 male conectors into the female ( lol ) ... I took a female spade that has a male made into it- bent the relay spade out to the side - plugged the female spade to the
( bent ) male of the relay and then used the single male that's made into the female I started with and pushed it into the fuse block.. And it worked...
