Dont bother with tapping into some other fuse like stated above. See what I have said before below.

Your horn likely stopped working because you broke the relay when inserting the blade connector into the socket along with the relay, lots to fit in a tight area and if you arent careful you will push the blade of the relay up into it and damage it internally.

Like stated before you do NOT need to tap a single thing if you want to run your fog lights at any time regardless of key in the truck or not. You already have a 12v constant hot at your disposal in the same socket as the fog light relay itself. (the whole reason for tapping into something else is to get a 12v switched power source so your fog lights turn off with your key).

Just setup your relay extensions like this. (Pic edited from original post) and the center spade connector will simply have two wires coming out of it, one to go back to its original post on the relay and another to go on pin 1 - the pin usually sent somewhere else to get a switched 12v hot.

@Toywoodsguy82 : since you Have a 2006, the pic the OP has shown does not relate to you. Tapping the EFI Fuse No. 2 gets you switched (IGN) power, it's the nearest and easiest source. On your year vehicle the Inverter Relay tap is inside the side small box also, which just houses the inverter relay and you'd have to run a wire from there to the main box.
If you want fogs available at anytime without the key, (I do not recommend that) then do as the OP states and jump the same fog fuse.
I've had the EFI fuse source since 2006, no electrical gremlins or Toyota Techs asking WTF is that relay doing flopping around in the box.
It does have the issue of being ON for this:
upload_2020-11-25_12-54-30.jpgsince it's the circuit that handles it. Like I stated before, if you leave the fog switch ON, they go OFF when vehicle OFF, but turn on for several minutes while the tests runs. You might get the neighbors calling there's a ghost in the Tacoma.

Clean the contacts of the fuse and verify the tightness of the terminals. So long without a fuse change...

There are multiple ways listed out in the OP for various years and configurations of trucks. One of which is tapping into the EFI relay which is the same as you laid out. Not ideal IMO.

    • It seems as though this power source stays on 5 seconds or so after the ignition is turned off (likely to properly power down all the efi equipment properly). This it not a big deal just something i noticed.

Is there a way to make the fogs come on with the park lights and remain on with High and Low beams? I wouldn't want anytime fogs but the ability to run them when my parks are on and headlights with High Beam.

Add-a-fuse to empty spot between Tail n ACC fuse in the cab fuse panel.
Or the Towing Tail relay pin 3.

Do I do the mod the same except for adding this fuse? Can you explain a little more what this would do and how i should do it? thanks

You place an "add-a-fuse" at the empty spot indicated. (wire facing up for tapping 1 & 2 correctly) You only need the top fuse occupied on the add-a-fuse. Use the smallest amp you can get.
    https://www.amazon.com/Profile-Modu...=2+amp+low+profile+fuse&qid=1606331519&sr=8-2
Then run the wire out to the relay like they do here.
The fogs will work after you switch on as you want them to, with the parking circuit ON.

Yup tap into pin 5 of the tail relay, or the Tail fuse.

So that I am clear, I’m going from the fog relay on my 2010 to the tail relay pin 3.
Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything between directions.
