    yea we would make a weekend out of a trip like that...find some area down there to camp...but we definitely plan on getting around to see the different areas and what they have to offer

    Bob, not sure how to say this but I would never recommend for you to come down to that spot in RI. You will find that one very boring compared to the stuff that you do. :D

    Okay, I can agree with Rob, there are places that are less boring, but none that are in the same state that we live in. Everything else you would have to travel to VT/NH.

    Yeah I might go but it's only because I live close. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that is from far away. It only had 2 real obstacles and they flattened out one of them to do work in the area. Not worth the drive for a 400' rock climb

    Your right, it is not worth driving a few hours to come here. But it is one, if only, place we can go off road legally here in RI.

    Hey Vermont !! John here from down yonder in Pa. :)
    I was up in Maine beginning of Sept. and did some Awesome exploring up there. While traveling up and back ... I was diggin Vt. and NH so I made my mind to go back for some more. Canceled a trip to NC to do this one instead. I'm planning on 1st or 2nd week of Oct. - mid week to escape the crowds. I figured I would use the Delorme maps to find trails and camp around Woodstock.
    Any suggestions , or help , or meet up with , would be welcome.
    Dirt roads trails,with scenery and No organized camping (koa etc) are 1st on my list. I figure 3-4 days and I'm good.
    I'm not locked into Woodstock , just don't know where else to start?
