Yea I just got home from working at the club, before that I was out for the yota run up in NH since 730am and there was a multiple person stabbing today so I have some paperwork to fill out. I'm going to pass on today - maybe next weekend if I am still in town.

Word of advice to those of you with trailer hitches.. Relocate the plug... It shears right off against rocks... Don't ask me how I know...twice...

I used to remove the plug and zip tie it up behind the bumper. Then remounted it when I needed to tow something.

I bought one of the new 2016 plugs to install in my bumper for this exact reason. Yet to install it though.

I just recently purchased my first Tacoma and have really been enjoying following the modifications that people perform on this forum, and attempting them on my own truck. After investing alot of time and a good amount of money, I feel that the build I have made for my truck is not on the offroading side. As someone who often camps, hunts, and is looking to get into offroading, I noticed that you have two trucks. It appears that one is a well maintained, beautiful, every day driver, while you also have your raised, armored, fat tires army-looking combo . I guess my question is, did you purchase a separate truck for offroading, because you have determined that is a financially sounder decision due to the wear-and-tear that would occur on your every day driver?

I have gone through some fun times with my stock height setup. Just add some armor and you're good to go! A second rig is nice if your doing some crazy rock crawling but overlanding with a twist of light rock crawling is what I'm aiming for.

It was a ton of fun - the actual Yota run wasn't too difficult, was actually on the easy side but still fun. A few of us stuck around and had some more fun later - those trails were a bit more difficult. Went up a trail called Mama bear and ripped off my trailer harness again... Still pissed that I forgot to take it off.

I don't have photos of the ledge but it was a solid ledge that had a point that came out dead center of the wheels as you lined up. When you got the front up the point aims right at your driveshaft, Rob's longbed and lift made it so the angle of the driveshaft was enough to taco-touch it. I didn't have a problem with my shortbed but I also had my locker on which Rob didn't have.

Even the go around is a heck of climb. No huge rocks, but a bunch of smaller ones that roll all over.

The last hour on that trail must have been tough at stock height. Noticed you where concentrating pretty hard.

I'd be pumped to see this RI/CT spot at some point as I've been busy with other shenanegans every time people roll up to that place.
