The Walmart there is fine. I thinks it's only another 1/2 away from the trails than TSC is. As far as where to go while being out there. I know my way around there OK but I'll refer you to my new friend Adam @Nicetacobro. He says he's been going there for many years and knows the area inside and out.

I saw your post earlier with your little write up that you took down. One of the first points you said something about not having a lift you'll bottom out. But on the wrangler forum post you say you won't need a lift or anything. So is there an alternative path or just a need to be real careful through that spot if you aren't lifted. I work Saturday so hopefully I can attend the next trip there, but just want to make sure there's no conflicting info about its being stock friendly or not

I'm not sure what spot he was talking about. There is really only one spot that I know of is not stock friendly in that area and it has a drive around. The rest of the area that I know of is very stock friendly. I wouldn't worry about it, go have yourself good time.

The trails in RI are very stock friendly. I have gone on pretty much all the trails on stock street wheels and stock suspension and im fine with no problems. There are huge things of water to go through that require lifts but i just go on the land part and not in the water.

To my defense ... It was my first time there and I had no clue the bridge was taken out and that I would soon be swallowed by a mud pit. Lets call it beginners mistake or stupidity, either way it is what it is lol

^ Weren't you the one that sunk into the mud....? haha

Majority of the water holes I have gone through in my stock height tacoma - except for one where I got stuck decently deep and had to back out of it. Just don't be gullible like me and listen to @mach1man001 and you'll be fine... The rest of the trails you can do no problem except for the Rocky Hill which I suggest skids but I made it up no problems three times already (once in the rain).

Any chance we could get a mod to edit this post to remove location info? @tcBob

The rock hill to the right of the one you are describing would require lift/ skids most likely, but the one you are describing has been done countless times by stock trucks.

We are heading up on the 19th of November in two weeks and meeting at the Putnam CT walmart in the far back of the front lot. We will meet there for 11am then head to the entrance of the trail.
