Would anyone be willing to PM me the directions to the RI spot, a map or something? I live less than minutes away, I think, but never seem to be available when there are people heading down, and would like to go check it out. If I do find some time to make a trip, I'll post it.

I was going to do that but @mach1man001 made a good point of not posting the entrance location because some people will ruin it for the rest of us.

Dude in an atv with his kid came up and asked us if we had seen you and said you were stuck in the mud. He's the real mvp for searching for us.

@BadDNA @Nicetacobro said they are a few minutes away from the trail. I would maybe PM them and see if they want to meet up. I would go but I have work tomorrow. Since we are a week away from the meet maybe you can do some scouting and let us know how the trails are looking. It supposed to rain in the middle of the week so that should create some fun mud for those who want to get there truck dirty.

You're lifted - you should be fine as long as you stay out of the ruts but even still the stock panel will suffice.

If you're painting them with bed coating I suggest waiting a handful of days to let that stuff properly harden before trying to mount it. I waited 2 days with my IFS and Mid Skid and they were still gummy when I mounted them, had to touch them up after mounting them. I waited a week with my rear skid and that went on without any issues. Same with the rock sliders and the front hitch receiver.

I did 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of duplicolor bed coating (Thank you @mach1man001 for the suggestion on the bed coating!)

Also forgot to add - I'll be home it looks like for the RI spot meet this weekend, I might just meet you guys on the trail as its much closer to me. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to show you guys how to get 6 inches of tree wedged between the rim/bead of a tire while maintaining air pressure again...

I am using bed coating, using the same process I did for my sliders. I also still need to order one like ten dollar part for me to do my rear diff breather

Stock skids would.be fine. I had my FJ up in henniker with stock skids and did some pretty gnarly stuff no problem. The RI spot is pretty tame, even the rock climb area. A stock truck has no problems negotiating anything there
