That's what @Masshole_And_His_Taco and I did. It was fun. The stock vehicles could have made it. But not without a chance of some damage. And for several, it was their FIRST ride off road ever. The whole point of our gang tends to be social/easy/relaxed runs and events.

Having said that. It was fun going on that path and having no idea what to expect, where it was going, and knowing there was no room to turn around! :D *I* had fun with that.

I'm fast approaching 10k into my truck, and I've just gotten started... and she's still my daily driver. By the time I'm through with whats on my "practical but fun" list I will have easily spent 20k. Without an SAS or SC.

I don't like to add it up, but between that for certain....more I hope not. Not close to done...but that's the 5+ year plan. Jeep needs to get old enough to do what comes next..which is easily 20k more. Heck my Jeep dealer routinely has Jeeps for 80-120k on the lot as they are a mod shop. I am trying to be very pragmatic.

i don't want to imagine how much I put in my truck so far.... I know I have about 20k in the evo over the last 8 years of ownership and it still only puts down 350whp.... mostly clutches... I like eating clutches.. once a year with my launching days...

Let's link up soon and do it up. It was my first time but my buddies have been going there for years, it's awesome after a nice rainstorm if you wanna get muddy. I have to wash mine this weekend.

It's off Exit 10 near the power lines - an unmarked road through the forest leads you into there but I guess there are also other ways to get in there. That's the only way I know though. I can PM approximate coordinates if you want to explore.

Watch all in 720 or 1080 for best picture, sometimes it defaults to 360p and looks like crap.

Here are a few videos from Middletown that should be visible to you:

Here's a short clip I created using the GoPro Quik software, not the greatest. What do you guys use to compile video?

FYI the power lines are completely illegal wheeling. (Absolutely not telling you what to do though lol). Guy I work with rides dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs up there knowing it's going to cost a few hundred per year in tickets.

That's understandable and I understand. Friends have been going there for years with absolutely no tickets or warnings from anyone. Few people zooming around in dirtbikes and quads as well. Weekends are probably OK but I would not suggest going during the week.

There are no legal places in CT unless you have land somewhere, gotta make the best out of what you have accessible and just be smart.
