    The biggest issue is water on your CVs (and brake drums) freezing up. If you come, clean your CVs at every stop if you can

    LOL... I have no freeking idea! People have been arguing about FRS vs CB over there for a while now. I don't get it. FRS sounds like shit and has an even shitty range. Not to mention they get lost easily. Anyhow, gotta go with the run leader's rules I guess. R U coming for the run?

    See I think FRS sounds better than CB. Can't argue the range though, I seem to get the same with both. I think everyone is arguing it because the FRS is easier and cheaper for someone new to get, you can pick one up for $20 at Wally World.

    Im still debating if I want to or not. I saw you already signed up. I just dont like subjecting the armor and newish frame to road salt and that BS. I go snow wheeling locally but the NH runs are at least 2 hours away one way

    I get it for sure. Salt sucks. Tomorrow I'm getting a krown under treatment done. I will see if that helps at all. Only other choice is to take it off in the road in the winter

    This is an issue I was having... especially with my LCA skid plates it was acting like a spoon allowing ice and rocks to pile up. I suggest spraying WD-40 on the LCA's or some sort of heavy duty wax compound on them to all for water to repel as much as possible.

    That or bring a long screw driver and hammer to chip away the ice as is builds up.
