Where was that at!? Looking to get a group together for late august or early September trip to Kansas rocks if anyone is interested

 

hahaha its a secret place on a buddies farm we are working on as a closer option, so dont worry hopefully we can get some together before the summer is over, but it should be cool. Im down for Kansas Rocks just set a date so I can put in my leave!

 

Alright folks I have a two spots left for some wheeling we are gonna be doing at a buddies farm along with some trail blazing as well aka clearing out some trails. You can see from the pic I posted a couple weeks ago as to what one of the trails looks like, but DISCAIMER: They are tight and as long as you have 31s and don't care about pin striping you should be just fine. Oh yea this will be going down at August 2nd and Ill be meeting a couple guys at 7am in Papillion at Dicks Sporting Goods. The drive is about an hour to the SW at 55mph which is easy going for sure.

should I plan to bring anything for clearing?

I have an electric chainsaw I can run from my invertor

 

Yea bring yours just in case as he was having problems with his last time. Make sure to wear long pants and boots that can get wet and muddy as a lot the trail is in a creek bed. I used limb snippers or whatever they are called the most last time to cut down on the pin-striping. Oh and bring some food and water as well as he lives in the country and there aint no Macdonalds any where close haha.

Anything you suggest on bringing? Cooler, recovery gear, etc? Debating on throwing my sliders on before heading down there too. My buddy that is riding with me also has a chainsaw with many different lengths. Just lemme know what to bring. If possible shoot me a text

Yea thats my retarded southern hick coming out in me hahaha.

I wish we had some more pics of the second trail "The SAPPER", but I think everybody was mostly in recovery/trailblazing roles and not a lot of pics or video were shot. It was to the point where my winch over heated and decided not to work and at that point no forward movement was made and I had to get pulled out of the creek bed by two jeeps with winches.....SMH

 

Did you guys have fun washing your trucks when you got home? Haha, looks like some nasty stuff!
