Hey guys! I'm currently on deployment, but when I get back I'll be immediately transferring to Offutt AFB (though I'm in the Navy). I'm vaguely familiar with the area. I had some family living there, but they recently moved across the border to Gelnwood, IA. A majority of my family is in the Kansas City, KS area, so I'm definitely a Midwest guy. I should be making the move in the November/December time frame. Like I said, I'm currently on deployment, but was stationed out of Jacksonville, FL. Looking forward to getting back to the Midwest and hopefully meeting some of y'all. Stay classy!

You know what they say...once you get on it, you never get Offutt. It's a good place to be in Nebraska, nice people and there's always something to do. I work as a civilian on Offutt so if you ever see my truck, say hi! There's some sweet rigs around the area.

Will do. I know I'll be grateful for my decision to stay with a 4x4 for those Midwest winters! After being stationed in FL for a few years, I was almost questioning whether it was worth it to have a 4x4 or not!

Do you all do many get-togethers/meet-ups?

I came from Upper Michigan so these winters seem like nothing to me  It is good to have a 4x4 though

There's a few meet ups here n there but not a ton. Hopefully this summer we can have more

Here is a few pictures from the meet. Didn't get the turnout as expected.. Don't know if it was the rain or what. Still had a good time, grilled out, and had some fun wheeling afterwards.

What's up guys. I'm moving to Omaha July 1st. I'd be down for a meet some time. I'm a Mississippi boy so I'm not looking forward to the harsh winter up there. I'm loving my 2015 PRO!

Hey guys. Not off of deployment yet, but just wanted to put a feeler out there... Not too long before I left for deployment I sold my '08 DCSB and got a '10 DCLB. I've got the Avid Offroad bolt on "sliders" for the short bed on my truck now, but I'd really like to sell them so I can get the long bed version with the kick-out. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM. I'm not going to post these in the for sale thread b/c I can't get any pictures of them while I'm out on the ship. They haven't been abused at all. They were prepped with primer and wrinkle finish spray paint. Could be touched up, but it's just cosmetic. No structural damage whatsoever. Here is a link:

    http://www.avidoffroad.com/cart/ind...products/2005-2011-toyota-tacoma-sliders.html

Price would be $300. Save $ on paint, shipping, plus $30. I'll even install them for ya when I get back! If someone is really wanting these sooner than later, that could be arranged. My truck is currently with my brother-in-law in Glenwood, IA.

Edit: Found a picture from one of the trips I took with the FL TW guys. Don't mind the dirt! It all washed off! ;):mudding:

I need to look up measurements but I might be taking these! I have a long bed but with my flat bed I think if I got long bed sliders it would look funny.

They are on my long bed now. The look fine on it, they just stop at the cab instead of going all the way back to the wheel well opening.

I should be back in August for a couple of weeks. If you want them sooner, just let me know. My bro-in-law has my truck in Glenwood, IA now. He'd pull them off for ya. It's only about 20 min from Omaha. Either way though. They're not going anywhere!

I can't wait until August my truck isn't going anywhere. We will just have to set up a time to meet. I got about an hour and a half drive to get them since I'm from Sioux City, IA.
