Zero hills in the neighborhood. Have driven much more fun things in the snow (don't kill me) but I do love this truck.

350 hp-ish manual Subaru on expensive blizzaks. Buried the thing repeatedly past the door sills and it never stopped. Was also a riot in the snow.

Central Omaha, everything here gets plowed quickly.

i have not yet figured out why the varying fuel prices across the Omaha area (87 octane)
filled up at Shell today near 120th and Center for $2.12 after the 5c discount, the BP on 108th & L was 2.19

closer to my neighborhood its about 10c more

 

I pay 2.35 usually in Plattsmouth. I was out in Bennington this morning and paid 2.25. Idk lol

 

i am super stoked to get the truck back from the Ming shop today and see how the mirror finish turns out!
then i have to finish spraying underneath before it gets cold again with the CF 3000 so i can put the compressor away and free up garage space for the winter
... had a revelation yesterday that NOT having the luxury of a heated garage all these years may have saved it from rotting any worse!

 

cold weather coming back this weekend and thwarting my truck winterizing prep

...have to wait until middle of next week, forecast to get into the 40s again for a few days

off-road action at nephew's graduation from Roncalli last spring
had to crawl in off of Sorensen Pkwy to get the close parking spot
no way was i going to try and squeeze it through here

KCMO is getting it worse and probably St Louis (but i am still banned in there going on almost a month now)
your snow day will probably come!

 

I wish it would quit snowing. Was supposed to go to Sioux City today and get my new axles put in my Jeep, but I'm not a fan of towing 7500lbs in the snow.
