    I got a new dog yesterday. He's doing great, but needs a name. He is an eight week old Hungarian Vizsla Pointer. My daughter likes the name Copper and I kind of like the name Cajun. I'd like to know if you like one of those or if you can give me another suggestion to choose from. Thanks.

    Kinda like Copper. Pretty original for a name. Plus you can go all gangsta when calling him shouting out "Hey Coppa!" Or for a nick name you could call him cop so you can start yelling out "COP" when he runs off lol.

    You have to go with the shortest name possible. Its easier for the dog and the owner. I like coper, but how about coop? Makes training and recalls so much easier.
