Help me, 2 1/2 years of beating this thing with no body damage and someone clips me in a parking lot and leaves no note.

I’m not mad, I'm disappointed lol

Is this PDRable lol....the paint is cracked near the tail light but i have a solution for that, my concern is with the bedside

Same thing happened to me with my 1st gen years ago about two weeks after I bought it. Same exact spot and result. I removed the whole panel and heated the crap out of it with heat gun but not too much as to mess up the paint. Then rubber mallet to the backside. Worked pretty well and unless you looked down the bedside you couldn’t tell.

Plus it’s white so it won’t show up as well!

White is a pro for sure, i want to try to get it as close to perfect as i can and I’ll totally try that after a PDR diagnosis lol

It was bound to happen, im just frustrated it wasn’t my own doing but instead some schmuck that didn’t have the balls to say anything

I haven't tried but I've heard for situations like this showing up at a body shop with a case of cold beer on a Thursday or Friday afternoon can get good results

If the case of beer doesn't work, Adam (owner) of The Dent Man is a quasi-friend and helped me out on ~$5,000 of hail damage for $1,700 cash. Good work, fellow off road guy and car guy in general. Should be able to work out a sweet deal if his guys aren't busy.

I tried PDR from an Amazon kit and wish I had just went to pro's first. I wouldn't recommend buying one of those crap kits. I went through these guys (saw you're in CO) and they made a long dent look like it was brand new: https://frontrangedents.com

Of course if you find a friend in the industry that would be the best scenario. Another option would be try and learn hammer and dolly technique that the pros use (lots of youtube videos, the Martin sets on amazon look nice) but on a new truck I would probably air on the side of getting a pro to do it. I had a dent half the size and professional PDR ran about $400, but again it looks like it was never there.

I did also see someone post a video of heating up the panel then using duster sprayed upside down quickly so the panel contracts and pops out, which you might try first cause it's cheap and if it makes the dent smaller before getting an estimate your total bill would be cheaper- link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9OGa9vB42Q
