Need a new "door stop"

    And not having a lot of luck finding the correct diagram. Anyone know exactly what this TacomaDoorStop.jpg part is called and or have the part number?

    Looks like the rear door striker. 69420-35050 is the correct part number .

    69420, lower strike, driver's side access cab. Thanks guys! I pulled mine off and cleaned it with an abrasive fiber disc on a die grinder, then painted the bottom with Rustoleum. I'll put that back on for now and maybe and get the new one sometime... they are $7.04 online. If any of you do this beware that the bolts are very tight, even with an impact. I sprayed them then tapped with a hammer and even then they bound up before they came out. so back in gently, more spray, more tapping, try again. I got them out without breaking one or mangling the star drive bolt heads. Going back together with anti-seize.

    I use EvapoRust on small parts like that to remove corrosion, and depending on how severe the service it will see it may get primed with POR-15 prior to topcoating. I’m a fan of both of those products — they work beyond expectation.
