The body kits are installed with tape, brackets and screws. And the price varies depending on make and model. Do you have a specific vehicle or part in mind that way I can narrow the price down?

I like the look of a scooped hood, which I don't have w/ my TRD OR, but like others have said, I could buy a new hood for less than the stick-on scoop. If the first price you mentioned was the painted price, I think you'd get more interest...

Then again, the scoop is basically going to be a mini wind sail on the hood. I'm betting that a few months of highway speed will over power the tape and the scoop will crack the windshield on it's way over the truck.

Check out the website in his signature... if it's a joke, it's a pretty elaborate one. I think it's just a company that makes over-priced stickers.

welcome to TW, and good luck with the sales. I personally would not spend the money on a hood scoop, but that's because I can spend the 300 on something better that I feel I need, or even save it for another car payment.

i dont like the fact that it's not molded to the hood, im not a fan of stick on vents.

If they use tape to put it on, why would they make it out of carbon fiber?lol

Most body kits are held on with a combination of double sided tape and screws. I had a Vizage Urethane kit on my old IS300 and it used this method. the tape is only there to hold the seams together tightly. Even toyota uses double sided tape to hold a few things on.
