    That’s cool you can recover power from it. I guess they need to make it controllable like the truck needs to know you are headed down steep hill.

    This aspect is actually a fairly well developed technology. The Prius uses it, and in industrial settings fine control of electrical motors for torque and braking has been going on for years. This is why locomotives have fine control, as do hammerhead cranes lowering loads, and electric machining tools etc.

    This is a subjective thing. Maybe people don’t feel this way, but I don’t like the featureless way it looks. Tesla also looks like one of those alien faces without noses or mouths. Ridgeline is k8nda headed that way with its styling. Just too sleekish for my taste.
