    Hello Everyone.

Looking to replace the rusted out read bumper guard on my 04 Tacoma. It lasted 14 years, so it does not owe me anything.

Seems like not many companies are making it for 04 any longer, and the ones I found are custom made and $1000 (or so). Not interested in these.

Anyone know a vendor that sells a decent rear bumper guard?

    Attached is a pic.

    Thanks

    Alex

Just so you know, any tacoma from 96-04 uses the same rear bumper. They're are plenty of options out there.

    Thanks Gentlemen

I have checked Amazon and other sites.

2004 and pre is hard to find. Manufacturers have moved on to newer models as they should.

If you have a direct link, please post.

I will check ebay as well.

    Thanks

    Alex

You could also find a local Fab shop to make you a custom one. Just get some quotes from places and see what they're charging

Thanks for the info hoarder23. I found this on Summit & Jegs with Amazon being more $.

    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tgi-120153-1-kit/questionsanswers/

Given limited choices, I will buy this one, paint it with Rustoleum or por15 and install it with stainless steel hardware.

    Thanks again

    Yes

But with busy family/work schedule, time is precious, and by the time I meet/check all the hacks to find the true craftsman, it will take a long time, and not worth it to me.

Great idea though. A true craftsman can make a custom one for sure.

Very nice custom piece. Need a true fabricator. And I like to drive your truck in streets of NYC, perfect car for getting around and not getting cutoff on consistent basis.... lol
