    @Ihatetacomas I'm with @mwc273 on the Pelfreybilt vote. It looks great, its well built, and Satin over at @Pelfreybilt is absolutely wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend looking into them.

    I went SOS high clearance. I love it and the price was great. I like the look more than some of the others, it matches the body very well. Although theres oficially no tow rating it looks way beefier than the stock set up. If you're gonna use an aftermarket bumper for vehicle recovery it has be able to handle more than the 6500# tow rating a taco has. It has the flip up license plate hidden hitch. the only downside is that I've had to buy a 10" drop hitch. I'm towing a 4k lbs travel trailer this weekend. I'll update on how it does.

    UPDATE:
    I'm considering All-Pro because theyre 45 minutes away from me, that way I don't have to deal with $150 shipping fees
    All these bumpers look great and I don't think I can make a wrong decision with ANY of these choices

    @ekron That looks BEASTLY

    So I towed the trailer (loaded to 5k lbs) just fine this weekend. It was a little jerker than it was with my factory hitch but I attribute that to the 10" drop hitch I had to use. Also I haven't gota an anti away system yet.

    Fab Fours is directly compatible with the factory hitch - it utilizes the hitch as part of the mounting system, like factory.

    It also has the tire swing-out option - although i have also read that it's problematic in terms of rigidity, and various components that are either welded off-spec, or otherwise fail.

    Almost forgot to update the thread! I went with Allpro since they're close to me and I've heard a lot of good things from them, plus the Presidents' Day sale and yada yada yada
    (This is upside-down btw)

    To my knowledge, what limits towing capacity is largely the frame and chassis strength and weight of the vehicle. A bumper does nothing to change those, so I don't believe that a bumper will do anything to change towing abilities by anything other than a negligible amount. The hitch is not attached to the bumper but the frame. This bumper just has a hole cut out of it.
