17x8.5 0 offset 4.75 bs put my tire tread dead even with flare. Its not just the offset that plays a role in how far they stick out or in but also overall width and backspacing. The wheel is turned to the right slightly in picture.

I haven't read the rest of the thread so if it's been mentioned ignore me... You might wanna consider TreadWright tires... Yes they have been been re-threaded but that only does two things: 1. Reduce the speed I'd trust em to, which just means under 120+mph that most tires are rated to (and I doubt you'll get close to that so who cares) an 2. Reduces the price by at about half!! That I know you care about!! I've personally seen and talked to an owner of these type of tires who swears by them and has never had an issue... Just a thought

Ps.. A simple google search on the name will find em

    Hi everyone,
New to the forum. I havent seen my exact specs posted but hoping to see if I should go ahead with a purchase. Trying to replace stock 265/70 R16 tires and stock wheels (on a 2012 dc 4x4 trd off road) with same size tire but different wheels.
Looking at the FN countersteer offroad with 4.5 BS and 0 offset...16x8. Think those would work with my setup? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

welcome to the forum, it will push the wheel out further but should work. Just make sure the 16" will clear the caliper and be ready to removed the front mudflaps. I would think some one on this forum is running that backspacing.

Fits great - no rubbing! Got it aligned at a Toyota dealer, and damn it feels good!! Again, thanks to all for the help.
