    Hey everyone,
First time poster, long time lurker. I have been having the intermittent 'hesitation' on acceleration without any codes. Well it is way worse and finally I have a code for the TPS. The problem I am having now is I can't find the TPS sold by itself. I am told I need to buy a new TB!?! So, in an attempt at saving hundreds of dollars, I am considering buying a TPS from an overseas wholesale supplier. The minimum order is 5. Is there anyone else that would like to purchase the other 4? It seems just plain crazy that this part is not available in the US. Or is there another place I could find another TPS with the part code 89452-35030?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ty

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, these are not the right parts. I need a four prong TPS with the product number 89452-35030 printed on it. For whatever reasons, Toyota does not have this as a listed part number. I've been told that it is an integrated TPS and I must replace the entire TB. It is not at all integrated, two screws hold it on and I've removed it already. I just need a new one that fits!!!
Going crazy trying to find it!

Well good luck on your voyage! Think there was anothe thread on something like this on here.. Did you search? Maybe they found a conclusion
Edit seems as if the design changed mid year 03 or something, you could get the 5 from wherever and sell them on eBay! Probly make some $$ while doing

Well, I went ahead and ordered five of the TPS sensors. I will put the rest on eBay if nobody here claims them first. Let me know. They should be here in five days or so.

You know, I went thru this whole deal years ago with my '03. Same exact problem, hesitation at speeds, stutter...no codes and many trips to the deal for diagnosis.

TPS was the problem and yes, had to replace the entire TB! Went and got different opinions from other mechanics at other dealers with the same answer.

I totally feel the frustration. I finally got some TPS codes. I will post the results of the new sensor I bought. Keeping my fingers crossed. Total crap on Toyotas part to not list the TPS as a part number. It is NOT an intergrated TPS.

    Tyree,

I have the exact same issue! It's a 4runner, but the TPS is the same.

Do you have an extra 89452-35030 (4 prong) that you are selling?

If not, could you let me know which website you used to buy the individual sensor? I found some in China for a minimum order of 5. Thanks!

Does anybody still have a 4 prong TPS (89452-35030) I could purchase?
My hesitation in summertime is freakin annoying not to mention dangerous at times. I've tried everything else and would like to give this a shot.

In case anyone is still looking for one, I bought one from a guy in Plano, TX. He says he found a box of 15 of them in a storage locker auction. I was hesitant because he simply would not post it on ebay. I sent him a M.O. anyway and it arrived bagged with a genuine factory Toyota sticker with part number and appears to be the real deal. It's hard to believe that Toyota will not sell these separately. Just stupid. My truck has not had one hiccup since I installed it a few weeks ago but time will tell for sure. His posting is currently on Craigslist as well as the Dallas classifieds. Google the part number and you should find him. Paid $130 shipped but well worth it for a genuine part IMO.

I've been trying to find them on Alibaba. Every supplier i contact is out of stock. Or they try to sell you a differant part number.
