I have a 2008 Taco that I upgraded with a 9" android 10 head unit... with no volume knob. What's the best solution for this?

Steering wheel controls. It's my one and only complaint but the steering wheel controls work just fine for me. I like the bigger screen.

That's my question. I need an aftermarket steering wheel controller or otherwise. Mine has none

I guess I'm looking for the best aftermarket solution for steering wheel controls... but it doesn't need to be on the steering wheel

so ther eis literally no way to raise or lower the volume on the headunit it self and only relies on the steering wheel controls? or is there at least a touchscreen option to raise and lower it. This is the only thing deterring me to the smaller headunit on their site with the knobs.

There is a software volume adjust bar but it's awkward and potentially unsafe to use if you're driving.

You just swipe down and click the volume adjuster, but you need to be looking at the screen. I just really prefer a physical knob.

There are buttons on the left side, but they are capacitive with very little nubs. They are hard to hit.

should have purchased the 8" if you wanted a physical volume knob. Their already is a solution but its the touch screen based volume control.

you might be able to retrofit the 2.5 gen steering wheel with controls but your trucks wiring harness is probably missing everything to make it work

Thanks! Reason why I'm asking is because I'm debating on getting this or the smaller one with the knobs. Kinda wish the smaller one only had the volume knob and not the other "seek" knob.

The Joying units are Plug N Play and steering wheel functions are adapted, at least volume is. But physical knob is always nice to have in those couple moments when you gotta lower it fast.

of course but that ship has sailed already for OP. He bought the unit knowing theres no way to add a physical knob to it and lack of OEM steering wheel volume control has him in a predicament of their own design.
