Hey gearcruncher, so I scanned for codes and nothing showed up and no check engine light either. I also rev the engine to about 5000rpm with the hood up and I saw no shaking at all.

But, I forget to mention that on a cold start once I back my truck up and put it in drive and press the gas I hear a high pitch whining sound for about 1 second. And after the truck has been shuddering, I notice a lower pitch whining sound when I accelerate now also. I don't know man, with the shuddering and the whining sounds, do you think it could be the torque converter?

I really don't think it's the engine, there's no code, the plugs, wires, and fuel filter was replacing very recently. If it's the engine, I only other thing I could think of is a blocked cat.

In all honesty , I think you have 2 problems .
If you rev up your engine when you are in park and hit 5000 rpm and do not see any shaking , all you are doing is spinning the engine with zero load .
Then if you hold the brakes hard ,put the transmission into drive and bring the engine revs up to 1500 you feel shaking .
If the engine is not under load , it will be incredibly difficult to feel the motor chug .

The sounds you are hearing could be an issue with the transmission pump or the torque converter
This being said , these things need to be diagnosed properly in order to save you some cash .

What kind of scanner are you using to check for codes ?

I used a harbor freight obdII scanner that I had used on other vehicle before.

Would you recommend just changing the torque converter and do a trans fluid flush ,and maybe a new trans filter to see if that would fix the problem.

I don't personally know any trusted shop in the Portland, Or area, so I'm very hesitant to take my truck to some shop. Chances are that they'll tell me that I need a new engine and transmission.

I don't know gearcruncher, what would you do, if this was your truck?

Hey Gearcruncher, how hard is it to replace the transmission oil pump. Since I'll be taking the transmission out to replace the torque converter anyway I figure I can just swap out the pump too if it's easy.

You need special tools to replace the pump . Special tools to align the pump and special tools to re-ring the pump .

At this point in time , I wouldnt hesitate to run your truck by a transmission shop in Portland and get their opinion of the problem .let a professional drivetrain specialist burn up a few gallons of your gas with you in the passenger seat explaining the problem as he drives your truck . Those guys diagnose problems such as yours every day . Explaining your problem to me over a long distance keyboard is no where near the opinion you can get if you let these guys drive your truck for free
I have always offered free road tests to anyone that comes to the shop . A quality transmission shop will always offer free road tests .
A free road test is a free road test . All you are looking for is an opinion on where the problem may be .
You can leave the transmission shop with an opinion from a professional who fixes these transmissions on occasion .
There are zero obligations for you to drop thousands of dollars . Road tests are free .
Transmission shops in 2021 are both swamped and backlogged fixing GM , Ford and Dodge products . They are making big bucks on the domestic stuff at present . Domestic crap is designed to last until the warranty period is over . Toyotas transmissions are tough if treated properly can last 500,000 miles
Get a senior technician in your drivers seat for a 5 minute test drive / road test and use that opinion to your advantage
Did I mention road tests are free .
Not everyone out there is in it to screw you over . Sometimes you have to let your guns down and get a professional in your drivers seat to help figure things out .

Different year of truck , different transmission and different engine than the op . You may have a similar symptom but any diagnostics we try in this thread to help you fix your problem will only confuse the first generation owners .
