Hey guys, this has probably been asked a gazillion times and I apologize up front for potentially coming off as an annoying newbie, but I just wanted a quick answer without having to read through pages of forum history for what I hope will be a simple short-answer solution.

We purchased a used 2009 Tacoma which had maybe 34K miles on it a couple years ago. The original owner said he had a factory 3" lift installed. From what I can tell they are Toytec spacers that ride on top of the factory shocks and springs. At any rate, the shocks are noticeably shot at this point and need to be replaced. Will I just need to replace the shocks (I'm assuming any normal wear parts like bushings as well), or would you recommend replacing the entire system with a whole new suspension kit? I'm really just after retaining the current ride height while returning it to a smooth ride quality without necessarily having to spend a lot of money since we have a very expensive European trip coming up. Thanks.

So 5100s front and rears and just use my stock springs then? And any recommended vendors with the best price? Thanks.
