    Im looking into buying these rims/tires. Rims are Helo Maxx 6 in black and the tires are Generial Grabber AT2 285.75R16. The 16" have a 0 offset but the 17" are avalible with -12. I have a 3" lift.
    My questions are;
    1. Do I need to do any trimming.
    2. Will I need wheel spacers.
    3. Does anyone have these tires and what to think of them.
    If anyone has this similar set up, plz post pics. Thank You

    We need to know the width of the rims. Offset doesn't matter as much as backspacing, which is calculated using both width and offset.

    I'm going to assume that the 16's are 8" wide, which with 0 offset would be 4.5" BS, and that the 17's are 9", which with -12 offset would also be 4.5" BS. If thats the case, then both will work, with trimming.

    X2. I have 18x9's with a -12mm offset and I only did some minor trimming with 285's.

    KPT, you assumed right, the 16's are 8" wide and the 17's are 9". So would I need wheel spacers?
