Update: I guess they’re gonna be fixing it !?!?:bananadance:

So maybe I don’t get my way with the bumper but I’ll take it. Wonder if there’s any way to now broker in a bumper deal Or if that would be pressing luck too badly ?

They’re not gonna pay for your aftermarket bumper. Just have the shop fix everything and not order the factory bumper.(Use that money towards the bumper you want) Cover the difference for the aftermarket Bumper and see what the shop will charge to install.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
Still a few weeks out before we start on our next batch of Hybrid front 05-11 bumpers, sold out of our last in-stock ones a couple weeks ago now.

A batch of plate bumpers are in-build right now, could ship a bare one in about a week if you wanted something ASAP

So just talked to them and they are gonna issue a check to the body shop. I asked about requesting only OEM parts be used and was told they use “like kind” parts if the vehicle is older than 2 years old, but she said i could pay the difference if i insisted on using them. Going to call the guy who wrote the estimate and see what’s what. If any ideas lemme know guys thanks.

That's some BS there. My truck is 11 years old and was just recently repaired from a freak hailstorm. My insurance approved an OEM Toyota hood no questions asked. Grandmother is insured by the same company and they approved an OEM Mopar hood for her 8 year old Jeep that was damaged by the same storm...

Yeah I guess I need to add some language in my insurance policy to only use OEM parts apparently. It’s fine. This place has done my front and rear bumper before and it looked factory match. They only do top work. I think. What I’m gonna do is just order the bumper I really want and this way I at least have a stock one I can keep as a spare or practice any body work on. I’m still learning about these bumpers anyways but I’m really liking the hybrid looks but I don’t know enough to really know what the advantage of hybrid is vs steel or aluminum vs weight. This is gonna be fun learning tho!
