Hello everyone Glad to be here been struggling for a week with oil pressure woes on a 95 Tacoma 2.7 l 4x4 ran and drove great my daily driver commuting back and forth to work but seal began to leak on oil pump housing so I thought no biggie replace it save some money on oil and stop contributing to a slick highways as I ride motorcycles also. Went with aftermarket pump and cover and gasket looked really good compared to the original which was fine as it was pumping before the repair nevertheless no oil pressure afraid to run the engine much already tried pre-priming with the tank available from O'Reilly's several times packed cavities with petroleum jelly several times swapped back and forth from the stock pump to the new pump still no oil pressure? Engine has high miles but runs great doesn't smoke or Miss in plenty of power been driving 80 miles per day round trip four round eight months with no issues other than the oil leak has been suggested pressure relief valve or pick up clogged in oil pan desperately hope to not have to drop the pan as it is a little difficult in the four-wheel drive any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
