A little advice would be appreciated.
1999 3.4L Tacoma Prerunner, 220000+ miles. Automatic, no alarm, stock.
A tree branch fell last year and gave the front end a love tap. No damage but when I tried to start the truck it would crank but not start. The truck wasn’t driven for a couple months prior to the tree branch hitting it so not sure if the branch was the cause.
-No codes using an obd scanner or shorting e1 to te1 in the diagnostic port
-The fuses and relays seem fine
-Truck is getting fuel when cranked at the filter
    -There is NO spark
-Took off the manifold hose and the lines to the ignition coils and spark plugs are dirty but intact
-everything else seems to be working but 1 blinker

Any plan of attack would be appreciated before I have to get it towed and have a mechanic look at a 20+ year old truck. Thanks

Have you checked for power at the ignition coils (Blk/Red Wire), does it have injector pulse?

simple enough to take a coil off the P/S and see if it sparks with a screwdriver inserted in place of a plug. If spark, then squirt some carb spray into the intake via the brake booster hose and see if she fires off. If she does run on carb spray the fuel isn't getting past the injectors either due to blockage at the injectors, crap gas of the injectors are firing. If it has all of that and still doesn't run, check the cam belt.

-The power to the ignition coils and injectors all show 12v
    -Injectors aren’t clicking when cranking
-No spark at the plug or coils
-Ground is ok at the back of the engine, battery to frame, and front left to frame
-No codes being indicated by the OBD

Does your check engine light come on with the key on?
Does the tach move when cranking?
Have you checked the 5v Ref circuit?
Are you certain the injectors aren't firing? (test light from battery positive to injector control wire should flash while cranking)

-check engine light comes on with the key as always
-the tach doesn’t move but I’m pretty sure it ever did until engine start
    - I don’t know what the 5v rev circuit is but I’ve checked all the fuses
    - the injectors are not firing

Unplug the TPS connector and check voltage on the Green/Black wire Pin2 (should be 5 volts +/_ 100mv)

I'm trying to determine if there's an RPM signal, I would expect it to bounce a little if there was an RPM signal, another indication is if the check engine light goes out while cranking.
Will your scanner show live data? If so see if the RPM pid shows RPM while cranking.

Also to be clear the engine is turning over but not firing, correct?

    Car cranks but doesn't start
    TPS connector is showing 5v
OBD sensor showing 0 rpm while cranking
Check engine light stays on while cranking
Ill try to scare up a neighbor later to crank my car so I can double check the injectors with my test light

Sounds like no crank sensor signal, have you checked the wiring going to the crankshaft position sensor and cam posistion sensor?

Double checked that the injectors are not firing while cranking with a light. Wiring to the cam and crank sensors seem ok. Actually tested the ground to the cam sensor and the ac voltage from the cam sensor. Also got an obd code when the cam was unplugged, which checks out. Can’t reach the crank sensor. Not sure I’m gonna put much more effort troubleshooting this thing.

check that the ignitor on the passenger fender is plugged in and has a good connection. if it's unplugged or has a poor connection it will crank no start with no codes.

Did you ever figure this out? Currently going through the same situation. Drove home just fine, few hours later i go to start it and it cranks but no start. Got a code for camshaft sensor, noticed the wire was a bit torn up, replaced the whole thing, now I'm getting crankshaft sensor. Getting no spark, once it's not freezing outside I plan to pull the crankshaft sensor and clean it up, the wire looks fine just dirty. Igniter seems fine but I'm going to give it some more attention. I just did the timing and water pump a couple months ago. Im not getting codes now, crank no start no spark

Few as possible, I really enjoy stock Tacoma's! Except small things, and maybe someday a supercharger.
    2 things I'd check:
    1) Camshaft sensor
    2) Coolant temp sensor (top front of engine, near thermostat)

twice I've had similar symptoms, first time replaced chewed wires on ECT sensor (coolant), fired right up. second time replaced the whole sensor (Amazon part, 14$ came with new connector too). started right up. Camshaft sensor is hard to get to, but both are rather cheap part replacements, worth replacing either way on a car this age.

Odd that there are no codes, but I didn't get a code first time I ran through the issue. may help to disconnect battery and reset codes after.

Check the ground wires on the intake manifold for the PCM. Should be a group of brown wires on a ring terminal. Check each wire individually, they will break internally and “look” ok.
