Hello, I decided to trade my Datsun Pro-4X for the 16 Taco because I am in wholesales that requires lugging large bags of samples around the East Coast with me. I can not afford to leave the bags in the truck overnight at hotels and have them stolen. A fiberglass cap would solve the problem but I ride Motocross and Supermoto. I also do not have a good place to be able to put a cap on and off the truck. I bought the truck to use the bed with my bikes and samples but cant find a happy medium between having or not having a cap.

Does any company make a cap that can come on and off with ease? Are there any other options besides a fiberglass cap as the flat bed covers are to low for my sample bags and can't be easy to take on and off?

I am open to any and all ideas, living in NJ I have to deal with Snow on top of the rain. Thanks for your help.

Tonneau covers like the Extang Solid-fold are secure, highly water-resistant with the right weatherstripping, and completely removable without tools in about 90 seconds. I've got one, and my bed is basically a large trunk until I need to haul something really big. With the locking tailgate, it's really secure.

We got a small garden trailer which has had many uses. If you get a fiberglass top for work, maybe you could use a trailer for bikes.

I decided to use smaller bags for work but more of them and purchased a Gator FX3 cover due to the fact I can leave it on when I want haul my bikes. The FX3 folds up flat against the window giving me the best of both worlds. I am not sure how happy I am having to have to lower the factory deck rails 2 inches to install the cover. Anyone out there with an FX3 already. Did I just make a huge mistake? Thanks
