    Fabtech 6" Lift
I got my Tacoma a few years ago and it already had a Fabtech lift installed with XD Series wheels and 305/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I'm trying to figure out how much lift I have but I don't have a stock Tacoma laying around to measure against. I'm hoping someone can give me an educated guess. My reason for wondering is because it is time for new tires and I was thinking about going with the 35/12.5/17 Fierce Attitude MT's, I don't really want to go smaller by getting the 33's. My problem is that I think the truck has a 3" lift but every thing I've read tells me that anything over 33's rubs horribly and while my tires barely measure out to above that (33.8), I don't rub at all with them even with suspension completely compressed. Could this possibly be over a 3" lift? It seems like I would have less space if it were a 3". Either way, what are some opinions on if I go with the 35" Fierce Attitude? I have read that the Fierce don't measure out to a true 35". Also, I wasn't stuck! Put it in 4 high and it crawled right out!

Sorry the pictures are so big, not sure how to make them any smaller.

Also, even though I don't have pictures, there are some blocks in the rear. They don't look 6" tall though. I can measure them tomorrow if someone thinks that may help. If it was a 6" would those blocks in the rear be 6" tall?

Doubt it. Most 6" lift kits achieve that in the rear with a small (2" or 1") block, AAL or leaf spring pack, and longer shocks.

A 6" block in the back would ride like utter shit.

    Fabtech 6" Lift

Yeah, I've been doing some more research and I'm pretty confident that it's a 6". The parts on mine are identical to the basic 6" lift they sell. The only thing I don't have is the DirtLogic coilovers. Fabtech shocks in the rear with I'm assuming different springs and the small blocks. I appreciate your opinions, I can't believe I've had the truck 3 years and this whole time I thought that it was a 3" lift lol. Now on to 35" tires and maybe a regear!

MagnaFlow off-road exhaust, OME 885 lift w/ rear full Dakar leaf pack, anytime foglight mod and Contura V switch, aFe Pro-Dry S filter, color-matched grill, Yakima rack, ARE Z-Series shell, and probably more. Also have a 1996 regular cab DLX Tacoma and a 2014 DCLB Tacoma.
I'd say that's definitely a 6". I have 285/75R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my truck with an OME 3" lift (though it's shy of 3", more like 2.5") and I rub like a mofo on most turns and when off-roading, or even when going up an incline into the Home Depot parking lot (for example).

I was wondering, what kind of gas mileage do you get with your truck as it is? I know it's probably not really much of a concern, but I'm curious nonetheless...
