I traded my 04 a couple months ago and purchased an Avalon. It is a super nice car but I really need a truck. I i have heard about some issues on the 12 tacoma. Will someone please let me know about the issues??? I am looking to get a DC 4X4 TRD..

    Thanks!!

What negative things have you heard about the '12 Tacos?

I have one, so I'm interested in what the issues are.

    re: my 2012 experience:
    1. Test drive it, and not just gently. Make sure it doesn't have the shudder prob on accel from 3-25mph. If it does, have the dealer get you one that doesn't have this prob.

    2. Also I've read some have bad rear drums, so feel for brake pedal pulsation...also read that they have replacement drums readily available.

    that's about all I know.

Not a single problem here, one of the best built vehicles I've ever owned.
