    yeah, they (used to) catch all the sand from the beach when we would go surfing. Still have them in the back seat and passenger side.. but i wore a hole with my heal within 6 months! I tried to take it to the dealer and say "this should not happen" and they said it was normal wear and tear.. i was pissed.

    Lame. The only advice would be to try and keep your leftie on the "dead pedal". Never works for me though, I need that left foot flat on the ground
