    Current:
Front = Hell Bent Steel 2.5" spacers
Rear = TSB leaf pack with Toytec TSB AAL kit
    Four BORA 1.25" wheel spacers

    Proposed:
Remove Hell Bent and replace with OME Kit (885 coils and top spacers) http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/OME-Tacoma-Suspension-lift-kit_p_231.html but either sell the OME AAL or work a deal with Toytec to get this kit without the AAL included.

http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/light-racing-spc-ucas-for-05-toyota-tacoma.html Light Racing UCA's to insure proper travel and alignment.

    Now the questions:

    • Do I need the swaybar relocation kit?
    • Axel degree shims?
    • Longer brake lines front and/or rear?
    • Carrier bearing drop?

Thanks in advance for any advice. This site has been extremely helpful in every way. I appreciate all the input you all add.

It appears that bjmoose's stickied thread answers just about all of this as he did eventually add the LR UCA's, address the swaybar and driveline and recommended the brake lines. What has been your experience with any/all of these?

I have OME 887s in the front with OME Nitros, taco lean spacer in the drivers side. Dakar leaf packs in the rear with OME Nitros. Not exactly what you have, but close. I installed the carrier bearing shims and extended rear lines. I will be doing a swaybar relocate or removal soon due to the coils hitting the swaybar in the rough stuff. I also have Camburg UCA's with moog ball joints, my alignment specs are good with 3" of lift in the front. I have no vibes or issues in the approximately 1200 miles since the install.

Thanks RogueTRD. This is exactly the feedback I'm looking for. I've only ever leased Toyotas in the past. This is my first owned truck and first time exploring a lift. I don't want to have to revisit things after the install so getting it right the first time is key. Info like this helps a lot!

Most of the items I question are the cheaper parts so it's nothing to add them to an order. :D I have an email out to Headstrong asking about a custom package price. I'm doing the same in a few for Toytec.

    How level are you?

    Are you running Armor?

I ask because I have the exact same stuff in my shopping cart @ Wheelers right now.

It sits pretty level, there are pics in my gallery. The rear is a bit higher than the front front hub to fender.

    No armor yet.

Once the suspension is done, I intend to work on the paint. Getting rough in a few small spots... she's been used as a truck so it was expected. When these Michelins wear out, I will get some new wheels and more aggressive tires. Those Cooper ST Maxx look cool! Considering moving from 16" to 18" wheels too.

I can't say enough good things about the Coopers so far. My one and only complaint is that they tend to collect gravel. lol
