Truck cap , husky liners, deflector shield, ARE truck cap.
I heard the seat squeaking noise. The second video sounds like wind noise. The third I hear nothing. Make them replace the seat or parts in the seat to remove the noise. I personally don’t believe they will be able to make you happy. So maybe you should go with another brand of truck for your own good. That’s my honest opinion.

After 15 seconds it’s all wind noise, and the interior is hard to pick up. They told me there is no fix for the seat. When I can get out of it I will be. I loved the truck up until they replaced the diff. But I appreciate it! Honest opinions is all I ask for.

I am guessing that the seat could be fixed, by using a rubberize tape on some points, sounds like metal pieces rubbing together. I would guess taking the cover off would show the problem.

Yeah the Service Manager told us it was foam rubbing on the rail. I’m just going to let it be at this point and let them do their thing regarding the seat.

[QUOTE="Not to sound stupid, but what is an EMC? Wow I’m glad they did everything they could to make it right for you. At this point it’s kind of the only thing I truly have left it seems. Like I said, my truck was at the dealer 6-7 times now, 4 for the same issues, once for 5 hours, once for 2, 2 times for 2 whole days plus an overnight, and then the last time regarding the same issue it sat for a whole week and I was told they never even looked at it. Thanks for the input!
    [/QUOTE]

I'm sorry, it's the ECM - Electronic control module. When it doesn't work, nothing works. If it were to get wet, say from a flood, it can be replaced. However, some Tacomas, or so I hear, have a problem with leaking around the 3rd break light. Enough water gets into that conduit, makes it into the ECM and the electronics are toast. I had mine at the shop 8-10 times before I called Corp - that makes a HUGE difference. I didn't want to be 'that guy', but I was fed up and a local dealer basically ignored me. Called corp, and they went from ignoring me, to VIP in one phone call.

I had the screw backing out on the rear diff VIN, thats way Toyota towed me on a Sunday - a Sunday? That dealer wasn't even open on Sundays! And when they opened it up the rear diff, adding everything else together, it wasn't a dealer issue, it was a regional manager/rep or someone WAY more in power who told the dealer to give a full refund - every cent. I didn't get 'paid' for time bringing it in or waiting, but the new deal they gave me, more than made things "OK".

Getting a Toyota dealership is a HUGE deal, and thats why they always want all 10s on their ratings - selling Toyotas vs being knocked down to only selling used cars is a major motivator. I don't know what exactly makes/breaks the dealership, but they need Toyota Corp more than they need you. Get Corp involved and things get done - pronto!
