    My 2012 TX baja needs new shocks all around. I'm at 103,000. What would be the best replacement to keep same height. This is my commuter truck, barely off road. Thanks

    Bilstein 5100s only if you want to lift the front a little. OEM take offs from a 2017 truck or Bilstein 4600HDs would be my recommendation for direct replacements for stock height trucks.

    Both will be cheaper than 5100s.

    Wouldn’t recommend OME shocks, after using them.

    OP has a tx baja

    '17 take offs and or 4600hd would be a downgrade from the struts his truck came with out of the factory...

    10-4.. didn't realize that was actually different than the other packages.

    Still wouldn't recommend OME, they're not worth the cost, especially over 5100s that behave the same way for less money and less noise.

    Looks like either choice is a downgrade from the factory Baja shocks.

    OME -> 5100 -> OEM Baja

    that is a 4600 in that pic, not an Old Man Emu strut.

    If you want to replace your OEM shocks with the direct aftermarket equivalent, then you need to get 6112 and 5160 set up. 5100/OME/4600 are all a downgrade.

    You can still order the bilstein pro shocks from Toyota.

    OP, I don’t know how much off-roading you do, but I can tell you this much, I replaced my TRD pro suspension with icons and the on road ride is pretty much the same. Off-road, the icons outshine the pro suspension, but if you ride on road mostly, dont waste your dough.

    Thanks, doorsidedown. Mostly on road, ended up getting the 6112 and 5160's.
