What would you like to know about it? It sounds like your lower control arm/cam bolt moved and flattened tabs. Must hit hard to cause this to happen.

Since you already fucked them up, I'd recommend just upgrading to these and never having to worry about them again.

eeesh. at least you are starting with a diagnosis. i had a similar thing happen at the driver side LCA rear cam bolt. took literally 4 shops 5 weeks and $$$ to diagnose. because nobody would take the shit apart like i was telling them to, until the last shop actually heard it. be glad you have this info, because they could just try to align it over and over like this: :frusty:

That's impressively terrible! It's very obvious when they're flattened.

seriously, man. i saw your post and smiled immediately. strange to be happy for you but after what i just went through that was my reaction. don't read this, i just got frustrated and never even followed up with the end of the story. the whole deal went on for 5 weeks like i mentioned and ended up costing around $3,000 all said and done. FOR A DAMN CAM BOLT. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/align-s-good-crazy-pull-to-r-not-the-tires.569048/

yep, a new cam bolt. the back plate was damaged and the bolt stripped. so they could align the truck on the rack perfectly every time because it wasn't moving and seeing weight shifting stress. then drive it off the rack and the LCA would move... significantly. it would go between basically 2 bad and one normal alignment constantly on road. it was so unsafe and unpredictable that i eventually had it towed and said don't call me until you find the problem. so he took the front end apart and i had wasted weeks and thousands by that point.

i was considering the TC weld on tabs myself but don't want to commit since i may build more eventually.

You most likely didn't damage the bolts. I have yet to see anyone mess them up on TW.
