You have heard this mentioned a few times here, know what speakers you actually have installed in your truck. Find out the make and model so you can look up the specs on them. They could be nice coaxial speakers that only handly 30 Watts RMS (never use peek power, use RMS only). Once you know about your speakers you will be able to make a more informed decision on an amp. A general rule of thumb is the speaker should be twice the rating of the amplifier. I rarely see this rule applied in the automotive world but you see it all the time in the home products. There is a reason for this but that would be going off topic and there are so many opinions on that topic it's just not worth getting in to. Just ensure your speakers RMS rating is higher than your amps RMS max per channel. You have been given some good amp models to think about. Before you buy one check places like ebay. I just bought an new Alpine PDX-5 for $365.00 delivered. That's more amp than what you're looking for but my point is this amp retails for over $600.00. I had no idea I could buy this item and I still have a warantee throught the seller at this price.

A digital amp (Class D) is much smaller and easier to fit under one of the front seats. Recently they have become good audio amps as well. Older ones exhibited a buzzing due to the way a digital amp creates an analog signal. Getting off topic here.

Hope I didn't confuse you but if you find yourself asking more questions, that a good thing. It's best to be informed.
