So my truck's A/C has never worked in the 3 years I've owned it, but I'm going to have to start commuting and the A/C is needed. I took it to a shop and they said I needed a new drier, condenser, and the hose that's broken in the attached picture...is there anyone that knows what part # the hose is? I can't find it on any of the diagrams. They either end at the firewall or have the condenser without the hose I'm looking at.

If anyone even knows what that hose is called I'd appreciate it

That piece sticking out that appears cut off is part of the AC Evaporator. Going to have to buy an entire Evaporator core to fix that.

Do you have any pictures of the actual evaporator core? The image from that link is a generic pic, not the actual pic. I do remember that there MIGHT be an internal group of lines that are located inside to HVAC control box. It has been a while since I had to look up parts for the HVAC system.

I found a picture of what I need. It's one of the hoses in the green circle...though I still can't get a part number for it. It's the hose that connects to the line that goes to the compressor. (The thicker line)

Hard to pin down because they called it a pipe, when it's a manifold type of piece. Both suction and pressure blocked together it looks.

Pipes, pipeing, something other than just pipe,,lol. Both hoses popped right up, no prob there.

    Yah, $90 before the door.

Just gonna add UPULLITJUNKYARDS to my sig lineup. It's my default discount.
