I have an 06' Taco, with stock 6 disc changer. I had a shop install an auxillary wire from the back, up to the cupholder. This wire works on my ipod shuffle, as well as the itouch, by plugging it into the headphone port. Problem is, that port no longer works on my itouch. The longer/skinny port still works, the one you plug the itouch in to charge it.

So, I would like to swap the headphone/like aux cord out with the longer/skinny adapter wire. I know there is a cord out there for this.

I am thinking this might be what I need. But the video shows a touch screen.

looking at this setup, I am wondering if the shop installed a box like that, and I will only need to swap the cord out for $29 instead of getting the whole kit for $100

I guess I need to pull the deck to see...
