It's come time for me to replace my front brakes. The pads are close and the rotors slightly warped, I can feel some pulsing when stopping.

There isn't any performance items on the truck now and the only thing in it's future is a little lift some day. I definately do not want slotted or cross-drilled rotors so those are out. But what about pads? I don't like lots of brake dust on the wheels if I do go aftermarket.

    Stick with OEM or aftermarket?

question for ya....why wouldnt you want slotted rotors?? they cool down alot quicker..wear longer, and clean the pads better.

anyway......here is where ya need to go for all your brake needs......

^ go there and get the hawk LTS pads, and you can add the SP slotted rotors as well if you choose. that is one of the more popular setups around here, and those guys have great prices.

For my other cars, I've gone for aftermarket performance brake pads once the original OEM's worn.

If you don't opt for performance rotors, consider ceramic pads. They cost a bit more than other semi metalic/ferro-carbon pads. They stop considerably better than OEM pads.

May I ask how many miles you have on the original pads?

Didn't really think of the fluid, it's funny how often fluid gets forgotten.
