    Per the specifications, this is a 55 amp hour, flooded, lead acid battery.
    Lead acid batteries only like to be discharged to roughly 50% capacity before they start to be damaged, and their life span starts to deteriorate significantly.
    This means you have about 27 amp hours available to power the fridge. (55 x 50% = 27.5)

    That fridge will draw roughly 0.8 to 1.0 amps per hour.
    27.5 / 0.8 = 34 hours of use (that's assuming the fridge is pretty efficient and only drawing 0.8amps/hr)

    I have a similar refrigerator, and it's power usage is ~1amp/hour.

    You can see on the Costco website, that they say it can power a desktop computer for only about 3 hours.

    I just don't want you to think this can power your refrigerator for a long weekend without recharging, and the battery last for more than a year or so before you need to replace it.

    Cheers

    Yep!
    I have two 6v, 230 amp/hr golf cart batteries in my adventure trailer.
    I also have solar to help with recharging when out on trips.
    This spring we were out 8 days and my batteries were still at roughly 95% while powering the fridge, camp lights, recharging tablets, ect.

    Cheers

    The cool thing would be to be able to store the power garnered from the sun, and not only use it in the moment. During one of my projects in Africa we were operating from solar for two years but had a bank of batteries just for storing. I wish that somebody would come up with the technology that would allow one to store solar energy without the expense, or more to the point, the space demanded of the current (no pun intended) options.

    @Truckdogipa2,
    You probably know this, but please note that what I stated above regarding how long that battery pack might last is based on using the 12v port. If you use one of the AC ports, expect the length of usage to drop off quite a bit.

    Cheers

    I've been rocking a bougerv electric camping coolers for years, and it's never let me down. It's super affordable, keeps my food cold for days, and can handle a few bumps and bruises without a problem. Plus, it's easy to clean and doesn't take up a ton of space in my truck bed. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable fridge without the fancy bells and whistles.

    Zombie Thread... most of the information in this thread is way out of date. This 12v fridge market has exploded since this thread was started.
