In the plus side, I got into a double cab now and have many less miles on it than I would have had now with the first truck!

How does "many less miles" help you? Maintain it right and it will go forever.
Double cab is too long, and they don't offer the good engine in it with 4x4.

$300 for a piece of molded plastic with some padding! People say dealerships are a scam, kids seem to be far worse. :angrygirl:

The one that doesn't blow an extra 50% more fuel for nothing.

And by nothing you mean an extra 77hp and 86lbs of torque. Yeah, thats practically nothing.

Treat it with a grain of salt. Anyone that thinks an i4 is better then the 4l V6 ( in a truck none the less ), doesnt have a foot to stand on argument wise.

What does that **ACTUALLY DO** besides burn more fuel?
    Answer: NOTHING.

If burning more fuel was the objective, you would be correct.

I see what this is about now.. Lol. I stepped right into the middle of a gun fight.

I am sure the 2.7 is perfectly capable as is the 4.0. My experience has been with the 4.0 and I couldn't be happier with it.

This thread was about car seats in an access cab, which proved to be a less than ideal situation for me. My daughter is in a booster now and we are rocking a double cab. Her and I both love it!

    Cheers everyone..

I gotta say, my double cab looks about the same when I put my kid's rear facing seat in the back. Forward facing works fine, but the passenger in front of the car seat is sitting straight up and far forward. I feel for your poor 6'1" brother.

@Tacomawife143 FYI, California law now requires children under 2 to be rear facing.
