    *UPDATED*

First off, forgive me if I'm not posting this in the correct area, I'm pretty new here.

That said, I've searched high and low on these forums and have installed my 2014 Entune Audio (unit 57089) in my 2008 Taco. Everything works great and I want to thank these forums specifically for all the help!

Here is where I am hitting a brick wall. I recently purchased the following OEM parts (PT233-47100) because it included the USB/Aux port that I wanted to install on my Taco. The port alone can be found on the interwebs anywhere from $50-$100+. The kit even comes with a wiring harness (which is why I bought it in the first place).

Question is, has anyone successfully used this kit or the wiring harness with the Entune units? If the harness doesn't work, no big deal. I at least got the USB/Aux input for $50. Win-win. I tried hooking everything up to no avail. Any input or suggestions would be great!

Also, the port itself fits PERFECTLY into the lower dash unit.

I've included pictures of the USB kit, as well as, my Entune unit below.

    Entune Model#:86140-04120

    USB Part#: PT233-47100

    UPDATE 2/19:

So I think I figured out the USB connection using the following harnesses:

    1. AX-TOYUSB going from the HU to AX-TOYUSB2.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/111625943848?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

    2. AX-TOYUSB2 going from AX-TOYUSB to PT233-47100-WH USB harness.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/291402466104?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

    3. PT233-47100-WH plugs directly into the USB/AUX jack.

I will update after I receive the parts and USB actually works 100%.

    Now for the next part.

I still need to figure out how to connect the AUX jack. The included PT233-47100-WH harness has a spliced in harness that I am assuming is to connect the AUX to the HU. Here are some pictures that show the female connection port.

Yeah I tried that. It's a little confusing. Especially since it appears these instructions are to replace the "existing" AUX jack in the Prius. I think I am just missing a harness, I'm just not sure where to start.

Is the Bluetooth audio (playing from Spotify, pandora, or your own music) playing through the HU okay? I'm hitting a wall too. I'm installing a 2015 Entune HU in my 2012 and almost have everything functional. The BT is killing me though!:annoyed:

My Bluetooth works perfectly. I never got the AUX to work though :(. The Bluetooth was plug and play.

I'm wondering if the Entune HU that I have is "bad"?

And you're sure you have ALL parts needed?

I'm not sure... Here's all that I've bought and installed:

    To receive sat radio: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BU74TQ8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Adaptor 1: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DF7C4O0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Antenna adaptor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DF7C4LS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I haven't bought the adaptor(s) for the USB port yet... Also, I've only got part of the adapter to move the back-up camera from the mirror to the radio, but I can't imagine that has anything to do with BT.

It's weird. The song, artist, play arrow and the seconds click along in Spotify, but absolutely no sound. I wish there was a way to "test" the HU.

Bluetooth worked fine with the 2012 HU, I had total phone conversation, SIRI, and playback from my iPhone using loaded music, Pandora and Spotify. Now I can have a telephone conversation via bluetooth, but no audio music.

I'm coming to the conclusion I was sold a bad unit.

Hmmmmm. So it will fully connect to the HU, correct? You can see your phone is connected on the HU screen?

Yes it shows up, in the Home screen I have several contacts listed and touch screen to dial, etc. Everything from the iPhone works perfectly, except no stereo (music) audio.

That is odd. I would check the connections one more time just to make sure everything was plugged in right. Check your phones media audio. Check the stereo audio. Make sure everything is turned on and turned up. Also, check and make sure the phone is syncing as an audio/media device and not as just a phone. Maybe check the bluetooth settings to see how it's connected.

After you've done all of that and you still have no luck, then maybe see about returning it if at all possible. Or purchase another unit :/

    Let me know what happens.

I'm wondering too if the USB output not being connected has anything to do with it.

It shouldn't. I actually had mine connected before I bought the USB. Did you do anymore trouble shooting?

So, I went through all the connections again. Had Spotify playing via the 3.5mm jack, unplugged it, switched it over to BT input and viola. BLUETOOTH AUDIO WORKING!

I have no idea what I did, or what I was doing wrong, but all is good. The sound is awesome. Onto the next steps, new speakers.

Heck yeah! Sometimes it just takes a little once over just to make sure. It could have been a loose connection or something.

Glad you got it together though. I'm still trying to figure out the 3.5mm connection on mine. I think I'm missing a cable, but I can't figure it out.

What harness are you using to move the back up display to the head unit?
