I got my wheels today and I am excited to get them on my truck. I ended up getting a great deal on the 17" 2010 4runner rims below. The rims are 17" x 7" and have a 5" backspace. I think the offset is around +1".

I just wanted to confirm if this is going to make the wheels sit more in the wheels or actually stick out a little more than stock? I read so much I got myself confused. Currently I have 16" stock alloys on an 08 prerunner. I was planning to get 265/70/17 if they sit out, otherwise I guess spacers and 285s if they sit back in more. Thanks in advance for all the help, this forum rocks!

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
5.5" stock vs 5"? Im sure it should stick out more.

Thanks guys that helps, I will have to measure the stock rims to confirm the 5.5" bs, but I was wanting to confirm that I was going to get an extra half inch or so spacing.

best get used to the look...

I'd guess the new Tacoma will share some of the same styling cues.
