Hey guys, this is my first REAL post and I hope I'm posting it in the right forum. If I'm not, feel free to let me know, thanks.

    Anyways.....

Just bought my first taco about a month ago - '15 TRD Sport 2wd double cab (pic below). Never been into mods with previous cars but something about the taco culture/following has gotten to me. I am looking to mod economically, safely, and as close to factory as possible. I don't plan on doing much off-roading, just looking for a much more aggressive stance. Even though mods also have downsides, i want to stay away from putting unsafe added tension on any other parts of my truck. Basically, I don't want other stuff breaking down as a result of a mod. I'm new to "lifted" trucks as my previous was an s10 xtreme. Feel free to give feedback, any relatable info is appreciated.

In my mind I've got an image of bilstein 5100's in the front set to 1.75 and with some 270/70(or 75?)/r17's on stock 17" alloys. I'd probably want to upgrade rims later but for now the stock is nice enough for me.

    Questions:
    1. I've heard of the need to extend brake lines, steering columns, change out UCA, etc., would this be true for what I want? Or is that on bigger lifts?

    2. Would the tires I am thinking about rub on flaps or any part of the body? Would I still have the same range of motion as my stock tires (265/65/r17)? Would the tires I want fit on my stock rims? What are the largest tires I can put on the stock rims without losing ROM and having to trim body?

    3. If I decide to max out front bilsteins will I need to change back suspension as well? Would this be AAL? Blocks? What would be the best mod for rear suspension if I chose to max the front.

    4. Any other suggestions for inexpensive (relatively speaking) mods that cater to aggressive look? Like I said, I'm not planning on doing much off-roading, just want it to look badass.

    Thanks guys!
