    Same situation here... I just ignored her and bought myself a TRD supercharger and cat back exhaust... It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission haha!

    I've been married for 22 years and currently have 7 bikes which most are vintage. I consider myself a very safe rider but get me on a fast bike and I'm going to go fast(at times), I recently sold my YZ250 as I found myself going faster then I probably should. If you really want to just get out and putt around on the trails and lessen the risk of injury, get a bike like a trail 90 or some little slow bike, I think if you get a bike with a lot of power you will push it and definately increase your chances of getting injured.
