Need help and other peoples expertise!

So I just got this great deal on my new 2006 Toyota Tacoma (Speedway Blue) TRD. I've got into some great ideas pertaining tuners for my truck. Im hesitant only because I don't want to jump into this so quick before i buy something. could any help me with some advice? Do I need to do anything to my truck before I put this tuner in? Im just curious to know if I need to make preparations to my truck before I let this truck loose. I dont really know to much but i was hoping this website could help me out alot.

Hi sorry for replying so late but im looking for a reputable tuner (Ive heard URD, Ive heard Boost, etc..) sorry Im still fresh on the terminology. Something to add to my Cold air intake to create more HP. also what i was trying to say on my original post was is there any preparations needed before jumping into something like this? Just so i can take care of my truck.
