    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Check your local muffler shops or CL. Probably got some good deals on Tacoma cat converters...

    Reserected from the dead.
You aren't going to find a replacement cat anywhere but the dealer. Do not try to use an aftermarket, they won't last long and usually won't pass smog tests.

Prolly best to turn it in to your insurance, it memory serves me correct, Toyata get close to $900 for new cats.

Thieves know that the Toyota cats are loaded with a premium amount of catalist and fetch a good price on the scrap cat market, plus our trucks are easy to get under to do their dirty work.

I find it kind of comical. So petty. The truck is loud as fawk. Damn that price tag tho.... $900 seems like a lot .

Do they make any shields or anything to protect them from being yanked out so easily?

they make things that are a visual deterrent, but the simple fact is, its pipe. Cut both ends, and run away with your new found booty.

If that. I can remove an entire exhaust system with a cordless sawzall in about 5 mins. Chopping a cat could be done in 1.

Only true protection, would be a full covering skid plate.

My full skid plate set covers the cat. Probably not enough to deter a thief that wants something though.

On a side note, I have a front cat that can go to a good home if anyone needs. OP, you need a rear cat.
