Hey guys, I am about to get ready to lift my 2010 TRD 4x4. I just dont know where to start as far as what lift to go with beings that there are so many out there. What I am looking for is something that will give me a nice smooth ride but will do some moderate off roading every now and then. I want to get a 3in lift. Any feed back will be appreciated, thanx

    your budget would be helpfull....

I did a 3'' lift on my 2011 DC Sport. This is my break down:

    $900- 3'' Adjustable Toytec lift w/ 2'' AAL
    $950- 285/70/17 BFGs A/T
    $630- New ATX Rims
    $370- LR UCAs

Depending on how high you want to go and what size tires you want to run it can get expensive fast. I think if your are going to do a full 3'' make sure you save for UCAs. It will help with highway driving and the toe on the front end. As for the rims, I got new rims to help with the 285 bc I rub on my stock UCAs with stock rims. Here is a recent pic of my truck. Rims and UCAs are coming in today.

So im sold on the OME toytec lift, looking on their website there are a few different options. Im looking at the Ultimate Lift kit which has the Bilsttein 5100 and i also get the option to swap out the rear shock with bilstein 5160 (is there a benefit to this?) and also the rear lift option has the OME CS047R Dakar Leaf spring which is an additional $439. (is it worth it?)

Should I also concider the Chaos UCA's?

(Im not to worried about the $$, would perfer the best possible way to do this)

    thanx for all the input

I just got the basic 5100s and the 2'' Add A Leaf I dont do a lot of heavy duty wheeling. As for the UCAs I went with Light Racing but that was me on a budget and I wanted to stay with a sealed ball joint. I think a uniball is not the best thing for my location with salt and snow.
